Technical Sales Representative
Anderson & Vreeland, Inc., a leading supplier of flexographic platemaking equipment and materials to the graphic arts industry, has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Representative in the Kansas City and St. Louis area.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and selling opportunities within designated territory.
- Accountable for identifying and closing cross-selling opportunities, and developing/executing targeted plans to land new business.
- Coordinate focused selling efforts with local sales and customer service teams at the plant level in conjunction with overall strategy.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must possess excellent sales, time management, presentation, and selling skills.
- Sales experience in the flexographic industry preferred.
- Capital equipment selling experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of flexographic and letterpress printing preferred.
- Must live in Kansas City / St. Louis area, or be willing to relocate.
- Travel upwards of 60%.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; candidate must be able to effectively interact with customers, internal customer service, management, and technical teams.
- Superb written, verbal, and reporting skills are a MUST; utilizing database, spreadsheets, presentation and word-processing software strongly preferred.
- Must be highly motivated, proactive and self-directed.
- Candidate will have the ability to work remotely/telecommute.
